Winston-Salem 23 at Durham 22

A critical penalty late in the game gave Winston-Salem a second chance and that was all they needed to take the lead for good. A solid game for Alan Crossen and a miserable performance for Edward Jeffcoat. That may be the last we ever see of Jeffcoat in this Association.

Wilson 37 at Greensboro 7

After Greensboro scored on a 64yd pass to tie the game at seven this looked to be a tight game, but it was not. The Tobs defense completely shut down Denver Bowman the rest of the game, while Jeff Gray shredded the Patriots defense.

Rocky Mount 19 at Raleigh 13

The Leafs pull off a big road win to get themselves back into playoff contention. Great defense for Rocky Mount and a very good call early on which negated what looked like a Seth Hatfield quarterback sneak touchdown.
